The Ballet Dancer, Director and Choreographer Francesco Costanzo, just like his hero Vaslav Nijinsky recommends belly dance for scoliosis, kyphosis and lordosis.
Francesco Costanzo teaches dance all 12 months of the year, no matter what season or day it is. He sometimes even teaches when he is not feeling well and you cannot tell looking at his energy levels on that day either that he is not feeling well inside.
Francesco Costanzo is a huge fan of Vaslav Nijinsky and he recently wrote this lengthy article on him, the excerpts of which I am going to share with you here.
Francesco Costanzo writes that Vaslav Nijinsky’s case proves that dancing can also be genetic. Francesco adds that only because of dancing being in his genes could Vaslav Nijinsky perform gravity-defying leaps.
In his article, Francesco claims that very few people know that Vaslav Nijinsky was interested in bodybuilding as well but he never had the time to work on it which is quite obvious looking at his ever-busy schedule.
This is something that I read on a different article, not on that of Francesco Costanzo that since the time Vaslav Nijinsky reached the age of 22, he constantly feared dying of Syphilis or Cancer.
Francesco writes in his article that one of the dreams of Vaslav Nijinsky till the day he was mentally well was to own the most stunning and one of the largest villas in Europe which unfortunately, he could never fulfill.
Francesco also writes that Vaslav Nijinsky’s case proves that the genius comes with a touch of madness as neither of his brothers or sisters could become as great dancers as Vaslav, although they both learnt to dance at the same company, had the same blood running through their veins and grew up in the same atmosphere as well.
